Today, Kellogg beckons visitors to its shady park and picnic area in the center of town and to a favorite sledding hill and overlook. Go 1/2 mile south of Kellogg on Hwy 61 and turn right onto State Hwy 42 and it is just two miles at the top of the hill. SVJ Creative Designs has a retail shop operating year round which sells concrete statues, antique furniture, silhouettes, and also has top quality, handcrafted ironwork products produced on site. Travel further up Hwy 42 and you will be in rumored Al Capone territory. Not much is mentioned, but as that rumor goes, Al Capone spent some time in one of the old homes in the country. Last but not least, rural Kellogg is home to the Zumbro Bottoms where campers can go horseback riding and camp with their horse trailers. Rural Kellogg also features state trails for four wheeling near Snake Creek.
