T
he Theatre du Mississippi’s mission is:
" . . . to plan, develop and perform artistic activities that address important contemporary issues and reinforce a sense of community. TdM wishes to identify and collaborate with original artists and other cultural and social organizations to develop a strong regional voice in film, theater and music."

December 9, 10, 11 at 8:00 p.m. and December 12 at 5:00 p.m. at the Historic Masonic Temple Theatre 255 Main St. Winona, MN A young and somewhat Lutheran graduate from Northwestern University returns to the Twin Cities looking for work as an actor, but instead finds himself teaching at “Kingdom. Power, and the Glory High.” Meet a yearbook full of characters in David Mann’s hilarious recollections of his first years teaching theatre at a Minnesota Catholic high school. David portrays the parade of dudes and shy starlets who audition for A Midsummer Nights Dream, he recreates one particularly memorable performance of Christmas Carol, and embarks on a wild ride through the one-act play contest.
